What are NCompass Travel Group's fees?

Members retain 75% of all commissions for all travel booked via phone or computer including, but not limited to:  Air, hotel, car, cruise, tour, insurance and service fees.

A one-time application fee of $100.00 for independent travel professionals, $250 for travel agencies, or $125.00 for corporate travel departments is paid when you submit your application.

NCompass Travel Group charges a minimal document fee for ARC processing (see the ARC Document Fee chart on Getting Started).

How do I get started?

To begin, complete and fax or mail your application to NCompass Travel Group with the applicable fee. Please provide proof of Errors and Omissions Insurance coverage (required) with your application.

After receipt of your application and payment, NCompass Travel Group will send you a Services Agreement and a Policy & Procedures manual. After you sign and return the Agreement, NCompass will provide you with access to Worldspan's Go! Reservation system, online reporting and preferred suppliers.

Does NCompass Travel Group provide Errors and Omissions Insurance?

In order to maintain your own professional and corporate identity, you need to maintain your own insurance coverage. The amount of insurance required will depend upon your volume of business.

What technology is required?

NCompass Travel Group utilizes Worldspan's Go! Reservation system. Computer requirements are:

• Minimum 128MB system RAM
• 5GB available hard drive space
• 2MB video RAM
• 500 MHz or higher processor speed
• Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP (Home or Pro)
• Internet Explorer 6.0
• Minimum 56K modem
• Minimum 28K dial-up connection (high speed DSL or equivalent recommended)

How will commissions be paid?

Commission checks are issued on the 15th of each month for the previous full month. NCompass Travel Group will provide a report of all bookings, commissions and fees for the pay period. Members can choose to receive their checks via direct deposit or first class mail.

Will federal and state taxes be deducted from commission checks?

Members are independent contractors and are responsible for payment of all appropriate taxes to the IRS. Agents will receive a 1099 each year for tax filing.

What reports are available?

NCompass Travel Group offers a variety of standard reports available online to allow our members to better manage their business. Reports are updated weekly. Members will receive a member ID and password to view their reports. All reports and client information are confidential. NCompass Travel Group does not sell any information to any vendor, supplier or third party.

Does NCompass Travel Group offer a preferred supplier program?

NCompass Travel Group is a member of Vacation.com, a marketing organization of over 6,600 members. The preferred supplier program provides our members with commission overrides for over 50 tour operators, 19 cruise lines, 14 airline and airline consolidators, 4 car rental companies and 3 insurance providers. Members will also have access to exclusive booking tools, training and marketing programs.

Will I be eligible for IATAN and travel benefits?

NCompass Travel Group is an authorized IATAN agency and eligible for travel benefits. Members are required to meet the IATAN guidelines of being at least 18 years of age, devote a minimum of 20 hours per week to the business of selling travel, and earn a minimum of $5,000 in commissions in the prior 12 months.
